My, how time has flown! Still spending much quality time with mom, and taking some time out for myself. I am gradually getting myself back in the race as far as the music business is concerned. After all, music is a part of my life! What a snowstorm we had right after Christmas! I had time to regroup with my Winter Vacation, and try to determine what my new game plan would be. First of all, I realize the importance and NECESSITY of integrating and INFUSING technology into everything I do. Starting off with the purchase of a video camera, capturing video recordings of my performances to post on youtube, facebook, my website, etc. This is CRUCIAL for my survival in 2011. Next, networking is another vital part...staying in touch with current contacts who can help me in this business, and gaining new contacts who can advance my career. Most importantly, staying in better touch with my FANS. I've been maintaining a VERY low profile because of my family priorities. I have to GET connected and STAY connected. Maintaining my practice routine, woodshedding, sightreading, composing jazz, and writing R & B songs are some of the activities that I have been involved in.
